One of the reasons why I love this job is because I get to create a tangible piece of art that embodies a family’s feelings for each other, and my hope is that my clients can see the images and know that their feelings show. I hope each image makes them experience that feeling again. And in 30 years when their kids are looking back on these images, I hope they realize just how loved they are. I think sometimes as mothers it is impossible to put our feelings into words, and with life being so busy it can seem like our love gets sidelined or isn’t as obvious to our children as it is to us. But no matter how busy or distracted we are, our love is always showing, and that is what I am to capture in my family sessions.
This family radiates love. I have said it before, and I know I will say it again: the love that Josh & Lauren have for their daughter is so obvious that you can’t help but smile when you are with them. They are always laughing and having fun together, and because of it Avery is smart, confident and hilarious. It is always an honour (and a good time) to hang out with them.
