Jamey-Lyn contacted me for their engagement session after being referred by her sister Audrey, a long time client of mine. Her and Brent were engaged but not planning to be married for a few years. They were open to the ideas I had for their session and seemed very laid back and excited for the session. We had a great time getting to know each other and they were so fun and easy to work with – I can’t wait to work with them again in the future!
We met at C.M. Wilson Conservation Area in Chatham which was a spot they frequently go to together and where they share a lot of memories. When I was driving in I noticed the perfect wheat field where I knew the sun would set and asked if they would be down to check it out a bit later on – and boy I am glad we did!
Jamey-Lyn told me that they had been engaged at a Kid Rock concert the summer prior and they wanted to incorporate it into their session with the shirts they bought that day. I always love when couples want to incorporate something meaningful or nostalgic into their sessions, and I also love Kid Rock, so heck yes!
Things got a little steamier as we watched the sun go down. These two were totally open to anything I suggested and it was so much fun!
Here’s what Jamey-Lyn had to say about their engagement photos:
“Hey Brittany! I want to thank you again for doing our photos. They are stunning and we are so happy with them! Seeing them this morning definitely made our day! We are hoping you will be available to do our future photos and will definitely contact you when we pick our date! Thank you again!”
