A staple in Wallaceburg for decades, Duchene’s has been my go-to for home improvement supplies and assistance since we bought our first home over 10 years ago. Mel, Victoria and the crew are always so helpful and no matter what your décor question is, they have an answer. When she reached out to see if I could help them with some branding photography for their updated website, I jumped at the opportunity. We worked with Shelby at Lunar on this project, and we had a blast working together (as always).
Through the process of planning the shoot we learned a ton about the history of the store and got to explore all of the nooks and cranny’s . The shop has been in Mel’s family for ages, and she does an awesome job honouring the history of the store while keeping up with the newest trends.
Funnily enough, while we were exploring the store and the attic we found a can of paint on the stairs with my mom’s name on it from years ago. If that doesn’t tell you how “small town” this shop is, I don’t know what would! But like I said, Duchene’s is keeping up with the trends and when their new website launches you will be able to order online and easily view what they have in stock in store! Including these beautiful Fusion Paints (which I have used on many projects myself!)
What do you think of this branding photography session? If you are in the Wallaceburg area, I highly recommend a walk downtown and a stop at Duchenes to check out their decor, lifestyle goods and for some home/DIY inspiration! If you are interested in booking a branding photography session, get in touch here! I love getting to work with local small business.
